Captain for a Day

An onboard experience where little ones can discover life at sea.

Trasmed offers a fun and educational experience that transforms children into real crew members during the crossing between the Mainland and the Balearic Islands.

Designed to offer an original and enriching onboard alternative, the workshop combines fun, learning, and discovery, sparking young travelers' interest in the maritime world. The activity includes:

An interactive tour covering key onboard duties, where kids learn about the roles of the captain, chief engineer, first officer, hotel director, and sailor, among others.
A sailor’s knot workshop, where they learn to tie some of the most common nautical knots.
An exclusive visit to the bridge, where they can see up close how a ferry is navigated.
A meet-and-greet with one of Trasmed's actual captains, who will explain their job and welcome them as "future captains."
A personalized "Future Captain" certificate presented at the end of the activity as a keepsake of their onboard adventure.
