Passengers with Reduced Mobility

Travel without barriers.

Traveling comfortably also means traveling with peace of mind

We know that every journey is different. That is why at Trasmed we work to offer a more accessible, comfortable, and personalized experience for everyone. ✨

At Trasmed, we want everyone to enjoy their trip from the very first moment. Our ships and terminals are fully equipped to provide assistance, accessibility, and greater comfort for passengers with reduced mobility or special needs.

All our vessels feature adapted cabins, accessible seats, and services designed to make your onboard experience safer and more comfortable.

To correctly organize assistance, passengers requiring special care must arrive at the terminal at least 2 hours before the ship's scheduled departure, whether traveling with or without a vehicle.

Please note that online check-in is not available for this type of assistance, so the check-in process must be completed at the terminal ticket counter.

Booking adapted cabins

If you need to book an adapted cabin, you can do so by contacting our Customer Care Center at +34 96 091 33 16 or directly at the terminal ticket office. Alternatively, you may book your ticket on our website.

To ensure the best possible assistance, we recommend informing us of your specific needs at the time of booking.

Before boarding

On the day of departure, terminal staff will provide an information form for passengers with reduced mobility, which must be completed and signed prior to boarding.

  • All ferry terminals are equipped with available wheelchairs.
  • We recommend traveling with your own wheelchair or personal equipment for maximum comfort during the voyage.
  • Terminal staff may request supporting documentation regarding the required special assistance.

Inside each terminal, you will find a designated meeting point marked with the acronym PMR (Passengers with Reduced Mobility). If you travel with a vehicle, staff will direct you where to go.

Designated reserved parking spaces for passengers with reduced mobility are available at port terminals.

Assisted boarding and disembarkation

Passengers with reduced mobility receive priority boarding before other passengers.

Ground staff will assist you during ship access and, if needed, onboard crew will assist you during disembarkation.

Adapted onboard services

Our ships feature various adapted accommodations and amenities:

  • Accessible seats with folding armrests and safety belts.
  • Accessible restrooms in public areas.
  • Wheelchair tie-downs and safety anchor points.
  • Adapted cabins with specific safety features.

Our crew will be available throughout the voyage to assist you and provide details regarding specific accessible services on board your ship

Guide and emotional support dogs

Assistance dogs accompanying passengers with disabilities have free access to all public onboard areas in accordance with current regulations.

Emotional support animals are also included in this category, provided the passenger presents official medical, psychological, or psychiatric documentation certifying the need.

Important: Supporting documentation may be requested at any point during the journey. If you are unable to present it, standard pet transport fees will apply.

For further information on European pet transport regulations, please refer to Council Regulation (EC) No 1/2005 of 22 December 2004 on the protection of animals during transport.
